Join the ROCHE Team as a Bioinformatics Programmer Analyst Intern! 🧬💻

Are you passionate about bioinformatics and eager to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge research environment? We're looking for a dynamic and motivated intern to join our bioinformatics team for a 12-month internship starting January 6th, 2025!

What You'll Do:

• Build a Python tool or R package for analyzing biological data


• Contribute to genomic, transcriptomic, or spatial data analysis


• Aim to publish your work or co-author a research paper


• Analyze datasets, identify trends, and prepare figures


• Help organize team events (because we like to have fun too! 😊)

Who You Are:

• 4th-year undergrad or current MSc student


• Computational whiz with a knack for biology


• Experienced in bioinformatics or computational biology projects


• Proficient in Python, R, and Unix/Linux


• Familiar with NGS datasets and genomic/transcriptomic data


• A natural leader with experience in community events

The Details:

• Duration: 12 months


• Location: Mississauga, Ontario


• Work Mode: Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office)


• Start Date: January 6th, 2025
