Hey there! We're looking for a fantastic Underground Communications Technician to join our awesome team at a top-tier mining company. This is a 6-month contract with a sweet 8/6 FIFO roster. 🏔️
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installing and maintaining underground communication systems
- Troubleshooting radio and Wi-Fi equipment
- Providing support for Tetra Digital UHF Radio systems
- Ensuring reliable wireless communications across the mine
- Analyzing equipment failures and recommending improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in communication/systems roles
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Familiarity with Fleet Management systems
- Underground communication experience (DAS, Leaky feeder)
- ACMA Open Cabling ticket with endorsements
